Check out Today's New York Times (friday july 28, 2006) on page A19. A full page ad that I illustrated. Ironically, none of my favorite pics from my previous post made it into the ad, but cool nonetheless.
As for your questions… No. I am not working professionally but I would very much like to. I draw and paint more as a hobby and therapy.
Currently my occupation is design. I work for an e-commerce company and do web development for them (design and programming). Prior to that I was doing lots of print work (photography and design), mostly fashion magazines.
I would LOVE to do illustrations professionally, especially comics. I am currently trying to find my way around the medium, so I tend to jump all over the place, but hopefully soon I can come up w/ something I am comfortable with. Oh, I did have a website but I took it down. It was mostly self promotion as a web developer (fancy-shmancy flash and programming) to get work, but since I am working in-house now, I didn’t think there was a need to keep it up. Maybe sometime soon, I’ll get around to creating something again.
